COMMUNITY

“We are made for togetherness. We are made for all of the beautiful things that you and I know. We are made to tell the world that there are no outsiders. All are welcome: black, white, red, yellow, rich, poor, educated, not educated, male, female, all, all, all. We all belong to this family, this human family, God's family.” Desmund Tutu

You and I were made for community. It is an essential part of what it means to be human, and it is the focus of the Winston-Salem Fellows.

Here, we are building a culture of acceptance and affirmation that is founded on the values of authenticity, vulnerability, and unconditional love. The WS Fellows is a place where you “get to” belong, not “have to” fit in.

Every week we share meals, share hearts, share tears, and share laughter. In three words, we do life together. Not only that but we learn what it means to be a member of a greater community, the one God is building.

In less than five minutes, you can walk to a City Park, get a burger, visit a brewery, or pet a horse and a llama.
