The Winston-Salem Fellows Program is a nine-month vocational program for young professionals at the start of their careers. By living in community, working in a field of interest, participating in a local church, and learning from mentors and leaders, Fellows discover what it means to integrate their careers with the core of who they are in Christ. Together, they grow in faith, deepen their understanding of their calling, and learn how their work can impact the world for Christ. Every experience reinforces our belief that growth flourishes at the intersection of these pillars.

Why apply to Fellows?

What if you took nine months at the beginning of your career to ask questions and build a foundation for the person and professional you want to become?

Maybe you know exactly where you’re headed. Maybe you’re still figuring it out. Either way, Fellows gives you space to grow. The Winston-Salem Fellows Program is for young professionals who want to explore what’s next while learning to live an integrated life of faith, work, and community.

You’ll live alongside other young professionals, learn from mentors and leaders, become part of a local church, and build relationships that can shape you for years to come.

Through meaningful work experience, intentional spiritual formation, mentorship, retreats, classes, assessments, and life in community, you’ll have the opportunity to grow in your understanding of who you are, how God has uniquely gifted you, and how your work can flow from the core of who you are in Christ.

As Frederick Buechner said, we are all searching for “a self to be, people to love, and work to do.” The Fellows Program helps you explore all three.
